I am working on project IMAGE COMPRESSION.I want to make new archive means new file &then add the file in that newly created file.I use the java swing for user interface.So please help me in doing this. also i want to do that once that file is created then it is saved,this thing is obvious.After that i want to open that file & then add another file into that.To compress the file I want to use my own compressin algorithm.
I want to inform that there is one menu say"file"in that the menu item is "new archive" &"add".Using this I want to do above thing.
I also try for the use of Java.util.zip package.But i can not understand the concept of zipfilr,zipentry,zipoutputstream etc.Is that concept is really necessary? Please tellme.Also provide some sample code related to my problem
