this question that i have for you is not about windows xp....
windows xp - compaq deskpro 1999 model - intel inside - pentuim 2 - original hard drive
hard drive space (C:\): 5.99 or 6.0 GB
question:
how can you tell how many gigabytes are on a hard drive without finding out by looking in the windows program manager?
how can i know by looking directly looking at the hard drive componet inside the computer?
what numbers mean what and codes of that sort.
the windows program manager tells me i have 5.99GB max space.

If that one doesn't, then you can look up the information on the manufacturer's website based on the make and model. Otherwise, your other option would be looking the information up in the manual. |
