Hi Shawn. I'm no computer genius. My mouse icon is always showing that it's working in the background. Precisely every 2 min. In my Norton Antivirus log viewer under "firewall" there are entries every 2 min. stating:An instance of C:\Programfiles\messenger\msmsgs.exe is preparing to access the internet. Can I stop this(and how) or should I just leave it?

You should be able to create a rule in Norton to allow this service. I am not too familiar with the Norton product, but firewalls are all about the same. |
