NIC Invalid IP Address

I'm trying to setup a home network on two WinXP (home edition) computers but can't get one of them to work.

I think the problem is that one of the NIC cards in one PC does not seem to have a valid IP address.

When I try to renew it I get a "file not found" error.

For example:

When I type in "ipconfig" in a cmd window I get:

I get a similar file not found error when doing it via the window control panel / network connections.

Do you have any ideas about this "error 2: the system can't find the file specified" please?
