When I am on a site and click on an email address (say for information) it will not allow it. It worked for me before I installed Incredimail. I uninstalled Incredimail but must have changed my pop server or something because it will not work now. I have to copy and paste it and then go to Yahoo just to email a company. Can you help with the settings for that? Thanx!
Answer -
"it will not allow it" doesn't tell me a whole lot, however you can change the default email client in Internet Explorer from Internet Options. Tools, Internet Options, Programs tab, and choose your email client preference. If this isn't what your looking for provide ALOT more information in your reply. ALOT.
I just tried it again to get the exact error. It says: (RUNDLL) Error loading c:\windows\downlo~ymmapi.dll The specified module could not be found. Please let me know what other type of info. you need specifically. Thanx again.

That is a yahoo mail file. What email client do you want to use when you double click an email address?
If it's outlook express or outlook then you probably have a spyware problem. I'd download and run spybot search and destroy. Make sure to get the latest includes before you run it.
I DO NOT use Outlook. It's too confusing. I want to stick with Yahoo.

| Answer provided by admin on 26 Sep 2008 at 04:11 AM Too confusing? Hmm, never heard that one about outlook before. Got to be the most straightforward real email client out there. Yahoo mail as I know it is a web based email solution. Perhaps you can give a step by step desctription of what happened when it was working. Can't imagine you got redirected to a website but perhaps I am just out of the loop there. Regardless you'd still configure it in internet options. |
