keeping dates in order

Hello Scottgem,
I have a question about keeping records in our database in order by date. Right now, it puts them in order by the month, so that all the January records are together, and so on. Do you know how to fix this?

| Answer provided by admin on 25 Sep 2008 at 10:28 PM It sounds like you aren't using a date field type to store the dates. It is probably a text field in which case its doing an ASCII sort so 01 gets sorted before 02, etc. Convert the field to a date field and you should be OK. |
