I have some Lily of the Niles (Agapanthus) and they all sprouted a beautiful flower.Yet when the flower wilted, some strange little pods formed on the end and dropped of after about a month. Now all that`s are some little green stalks with nothing on them. Should I cut them off, (assuming that another one will grow) or just let it fall off by itself?
Thanks for your help.

| Answer provided by admin on 25 Sep 2008 at 09:40 PM those are the seed pods, they also form on tulips and many other bulbs. you can cut them off, and when the stalks die down to tan, cut them down. they will be fine next year. is the normal thing for them. but the flowers were beautifull werent they? |
